This is my introduction page. Some things about myself, a little autobiography, some anecdotes and some bk stories. My political opinions might come through at some stage, if you agree with them good if you dont just ignore them and move on. The sub-continent was a wonderful place to be at one time. You have total wilderness, huge mountains   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K2  and rivers on one hand and bustling cities on the other. The land I grew up in is now torn by war. It cuts me up to see innocent lives lost everyday. Why the three flags? 

 

 

 

I was born in Rawalpindi  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rawalpindi  Pakistan in 1963. My father's family was 'Jat Chaudry' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jat  and on mothers side I have Pashtun  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pashtun  and Kashmiri  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kashmir_region  ancestors.

 

What is now Pakistan was carved out of India in 1947 for solving a few problems, did they get solved, depends who you talk to.  Pakistanis and Indians are one people, they think alike, eat same food, and have same cultural values. Sharings common bonds of culture and history they cant escape each other.

 

 

I emigrated to Britain in 1986 in search of a more meaningful life. I was not disappointed. For almost two hundred years the sub-continent was part of the British Empire. Common history and that long aquaintance have created a link among these three nations, which cant be ignored. People in Britain love the food from sub-continent. There are more English speakers in India than in England !  Any natural disaster in sub-continent, Britain is usaually the first to respond. The deeper one looks, the more ties are found binding these three nations together. And I love all three. I am a staunch Royalist at heart and to myself and Millions of others in the Commonwealth of Nations, Her Majesty the Queen is still our Queen. A symbol of certainity in a very uncertain world.

Effects of Climate & Environment on Bully Kutta & Gull Terr Breeds

Climate & Environment makes a lot of difference to the dogs health. Harsh, dry and hot summers and still harsher, drier and very cold winters makes the dogs susceptible to all kinds of skin ailments. In summer attack by mange mites and other parasites is common. Lighter colour dogs suffer more. Just as things are getting under control harsh winter sets in making the already tired skin flaky, dry and patchy. Use of sulphur in drinking water works to some extent in preventing skin condition. Keepers in Pakistan use mustard oil rub in winter to keep the skin supple and moisturised. Antibiotics though readily available are not used generally for skin conditions. We have started using Ivermectin in Pakistan how it performs, only time will tell.  Dogs that come to UK, have had very few problems health wise. Condition of Skin difference is obvious if you look closely at different photographs. The coats are shinier, look healthier and none have had any mange attack.
